IBM Speakers Bureau Slide Show
In
the early 1970s, IBM executives were encouraged to
make local public speaking events a part of their
repertoire. IBM provided them with a slide show and
narrative that expounded on the evolution of computing
devices from the Renaissance to the late 1960's. These
images and narratives are reproduced in their original
sequence and none of the content has been altered.
Note: The IBM Speakers Bureau script was
designed for the spoken word and does not follow conventional
writing syntax.
