Precision Vacuum Tube Computer

This
rare computer was built by Royal Precision Corporation in
Port Chester, NY. It is one of the prizes of the Computer
Museum's collection because it represents the end of the
vacuum tube era.
This computer contains 113 vacuum tubes, a drum memory disk
and a paper tape reader and punch. Also included is the Royal
Precision Recorder-Reproducer manufactured by Commercial Controls
Corporation.
The system cost $50,000 (new) in 1963.
