National Cash Register Company Ledger Processor
1940s

Two sets of keys - one for numbers and the other for the alphabet - made this a complicated but versatile machine. Primarily used to tabulate and maintain accounts payable ledgers, it was powered by electricity but could not perform any advanced accounting functions or mathematical calculations.
